SCARBOROUGH – Jean H. Morrison, 91, of Bessey School Drive and formerly of Lubec, passed away Dec. 10, 2010, at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House, Scarborough. She was born in Lubec, a daughter of Arthur and Marion (Zwicker) Malloch. Jean worked for New England Telephone and Telegraph for 26 years before retiring in 1978. She was a life member of Telephone Pioneers. She was predeceased by her husband, Ivan Morrison; and a brother, Harold Malloch. She is survived by her sister, Jackie Malloch of Scarborough; a sister-in-law, Sheila Malloch of Eastport; a niece, who was like the daughter she never had, Fern M. DiPietro and her husband, David, of Portland; nephews, Gilbert Murphy, Scott and Christian Malloch, all of Eastport; and great-nephews, Chris and Danny DiPietro, who were like grandsons to her. She is also survived by several great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews. Services will be held at a later date in Lubec. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Gosnell Memorial Hospice House, 11 Hunnewell Drive, Scarborough, ME 04074. Arrangements are by Independent Death Care, Portland.
