MILLINOCKET – Mary M. Morse, 87, died Thursday, Dec. 9, 2010, at her home. She was born Dec. 2, 1923, in Millinocket, the daughter of Demintrois and Marguerita Jamo. Mary was a single mother and was always there for her children. She worked at Wilson’s Jewelry, Millinocket, for many years as a sales clerk. Mary is survived by two children, Richard Morse and his wife, Barbara, of New Hampshire and Margo Barker of Millinocket; eight grandchildren, James, David, Deb, Brenda, Linda, Daniel, Matthew and Andrew; 10 great-grandchildren, Rachael, Holly, Adam, Matthew, Caitlynn, Mckenzie, Brady, David, Emily and Hally; several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, Mary was predeceased by a son, James Morse; a son-in-law, John Barker; and four siblings, Chris Jamo, Nicholas Jamo, John “Sam” Jamo and Kelroy Panchy. Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 14, at Lamson Funeral Home, 11 Tamarack St., Millinocket, with Deacon Bob Landry officiating. Spring interment will be at Millinocket Cemetery.
