DEXTER – Brent “B.C.” J. Campbell, 62, died unexpectedly Dec. 16, 2010, at his residence. He was born May 15, 1948, in Dover-Foxcroft, the son of Richard C. and Madeline (Clukey) Campbell. He worked as a truck driver for many years for Gill Forest Products and Ziggy Spack. Brent was an auto sports racer, an avid card player and especially enjoyed spending time at Sebec Lake with his friend, John Danforth. He is survived by a daughter, Sara Campbell of Ripley; a son, Jason Campbell of Dover-Foxcroft; two grandchildren, Hannah Campbell and Dylan Talbot; his mother, Madeline Campbell of Dover-Foxcroft; two brothers, Brian Campbell of Brownville and Cory Campbell of Dover-Foxcroft; a sister, Becky Stevens and her husband, Chris, of Bangor; four stepbrothers, Mark, Perry, Paul and Bruce Dinkins; and a half sister, Roxanne Rideout. He was predeceased by his parents, Richard and Joanne Campbell. Brent will be missed by many friends. The family thanks his caretaker, Debra Hunt, for her kindness and special care throughout the last few years. There will be no services at this time.
