HOULTON – Candice Jean Cleary, 36, was called to heaven to be one of God’s precious angels Dec. 16, 2010, after a brave and courageous battle against cancer. She touched many lives and was an inspiration to all that were blessed to have her in their lives. She was born June 29, 1974, in Houlton, the daughter of Sheila Connors and Kenny Trecartin. Candy was a graduate of Hodgdon High School, Class of 1992. She worked her last few years for Chadwicks Florist as a floral designer, which she greatly enjoyed. Candy loved the neighborhood bonfires and spending time with her family and friends. She was an amazing mother and great friend, and she will be greatly missed by her special friends, Stephanie Gellerson, Paula Mooers, Michelle Rogers, Mary McGillicuddy, Heather McGuire, Robin Cleary, Jane Dickison, Gloria Austin, Jennifer Roshto, Deb and Tom Nesbitt, Cassie Carmichael, Nancy Henry, Marea Innes, Marilyn Morissey and many, many more. Candy is survived by her parents; her husband, Paul Cleary; two beloved sons, Connor and Cameron Cleary; her sister, Sherry Thibault and her husband, Jon; her brother, James Trecartin; her brother-in-law, Richard Cleary and his fiancee, Elsie Fleming; her niece, Rachel Cleary; her sister-in-law, Deanna Cleary; her nephew, Christopher Moran; her mother-in-law, Mary Cleary; her father-in-law, Emmons Cleary; special aunt, Pauline Connors of Bangor; and her uncle, Tom Connors of Monticello. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Dunn Funeral Home, where funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. Randall Burns officiating. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
