PRESQUE ISLE – Geraldine B. Brewer, 87, wife of the late Ray Brewer, died Dec. 29, 2010, at a Bangor hospital. She was born March 3, 1923, in Frenchville, daughter of George and Catherine (Martin) Bouchard. She had been employed at Northern National Bank for more than 25 years. Geraldine was a communicant of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Presque Isle. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and especially enjoyed her times with her “domino girls.” She is survived by two sons and their wives, Jerome and Marilyn Brewer, and Jim and Nancy Brewer, all of Presque Isle; grandchildren, Nathan Brewer and his wife, Karla, Chad Brewer and his wife, Lisa, Kristi Brewer, Heather Craig and her husband, Chris, and Erinn Rossignol and her husband, Donald; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Martha Rooney of Wisconsin. She was predeceased by her husband in 1971; a daughter, Janice Brewer, in 1992; five brothers, Gerard, Conrad, Romauld, Joseph and Leo Bouchard; and three sisters, Priscille Adams, Fedora Bouchard and Sister Therese Bouchard. There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 3, 2011, at St. Mary’s Parish of the Precious Blood, Presque Isle, with the Rev. Jean-Paul Labrie officiating. A spring interment will be at St Mary’s North Main Street Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home.
