HERMON – Robert Bomes, 57, died Friday, Jan. 7, 2011, at a Bangor health care facility. He was born March 9, 1953, in Providence, R.I., the son of Milton and Hazel (Levy) Bomes. Robert was a lifelong resident of Rehoboth, Mass. He is survived by his children, Matthew Bomes and his wife, Erin, of Swansea, Mass., Kristen Lancaster and her boyfriend, Donald Dean, of Carmel, Carrie Bomes of Newport and Bryan Bomes of Hermon; grandsons, Jayson Lancaster, Tyler Lancaster and Ryan Bomes; brothers, Allen and his wife, Marilynn, of Westbrook, Conn., and Stanley and his wife, Genevieve, of Milford, Mass.; sister, Shelley Pray of Riverside, R.I.; and longtime friend, Patti Tapley of Old Town.
