BRUNSWICK, N.Y. – Carroll P. Langley, 87, of Country Way, died Monday, Jan. 10, 2011, at Samaritan Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Ellsworth, he was son of the late Carroll P. Langley Sr. and Hester M. Spencer Ward. Carroll married Eileen Poppe Langley March 30, 1950, and they were married for 60 years. He was raised in Ellsworth, New York state for 16 years, then Carmel and in Brunswick, N.Y., since 2009. Mr. Langley was a long haul truck driver for 40 years, most recently for Edleman Trucking in Hillsdale, N.Y. He served in the Army Air Corps at the end of World War II. Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a daughter, Catherine Iuliano of Rensselaer, N.Y.; two grandchildren, Jennifer Iuliano Haskins of Pittsfield, Mass., and Keith Michael Iuliano of Bluffton, S.C.; four great-grandchildren, Brandon James, Jessica Catherine-Noel and Adam Perry Moore, and Andrew Martin Haskins; a sister, Margaret Hickson of Augusta, Ga.; and two nieces. A memorial service will be held 7 p.m. Wednesday at Bryce Funeral Home, Inc., 276 Pawling Ave., Troy, N.Y.
