BAILEYVILLE – Nathaniel Brandon Annis, 19, passed away Sunday, Jan. 9, 2011, at his home. Nathaniel was born Feb. 26, 1991, in Calais, son to Stephen and Lorraine (McLean) Annis. He graduated from Woodland High School, Class of 2009. Nathaniel enjoyed going to basketball games, watching his sister’s volleyball games, listening to the radio and going for walks. He was a member of St. James the Greater R.C. Church, Baileyville. Nathaniel loved eating spaghetti and having potato chips and M&M’s. He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Milton Annis; maternal grandparents, Frank and Norma McLean; and an uncle, Greg Annis. Surviving are his loving parents Stephen and Lorraine Annis; his sister, Crystal Annis; paternal grandmother, Regina Annis, all of Baileyville; aunts and uncles, David and Jennifer Annis of Levant, Mike and Joan McLean of Calais, Stephen and Carol Higgins of St. Stephen, New Brunswick, Daniel McLean of Calais, David and Lori McLean of Eastport, Mary McLean of Calais and Denise Annis of Baileyville; many dear cousins. Visiting hours will be held 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 12, at Mays Funeral Home, 26 Church St., Calais. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Thursday at St. James the Greater R.C. Church, Baileyville, by Father James Plourde. Burial will be held in the spring at Woodland Cemetery.
