DEXTER and BANGOR – Eva Ruth LeDuc, 78, passed away peacefully Jan. 11, 2011, surrounded by her family at Dexter Health Care. She was born Aug. 19, 1932, in Gausedale, Ky., a daughter of Charlie and Myrtle (Hill) Bingham. Eva was employed for many years at various shoe shops as a stitcher. She was an accomplished artist, played the guitar and loved to sing. She was also well known as a creative doll maker. She handsewed beautiful 1800s era style clothes. She won many first place ribbons in the Bangor Doll Show, and one of her dolls was featured in Doll Crafter magazine. She is survived by four children, Tom Crawford and his wife, Linda, of Garland, Linda Larrabee and husband, Cliff, of Dexter, Kathie Woodcock and husband, Neil, of California, and Debbie Dorion of Bangor; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; three sisters and three brothers. She was predeceased by two sisters, Violet and Darlene; a brother, Milton; a grandson, Tracy; and two nieces, Ann and Priscilla. Private spring graveside services will be held at West Garland Cemetery, Garland. Cremation arrangements are by Crosby & Neal Chapel, Corinna.
