ASHLAND – Eva Joy Ouellet-Gagne, 47, a kind, generous and loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend, died unexpectedly Jan. 12, 2011, at a Presque Isle hospital. She was born Jan. 12, 1964, in Augusta, the daughter of Edward and Anna (Bragdon) Ouellet. Eva loved spending time in the outdoors, gardening and especially being with her two dogs, Lilly and Aspen. She graduated from Ashland Community High School in 1982 and attended the University of Maine at Presque Isle. She worked for 26 years at Burrelle’s Clipping Service, Presque Isle. Surviving, in addition to her two loving parents, are two sisters, Brenda Boyce and companion, Jerry Carney, and Averill Gardner and husband, James, all of Ashland; one brother, Edward P. Ouellet of Winthrop; several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call 10 a.m. until the time of service Monday at Stimson-Ouellette Funeral Home, 114 Exchange St., Ashland, where a funeral service will be held 11:30 a.m. Monday with Pastor Nathan Gardner officiating. There will be a private interment in the spring.
