ORONO – Timothy T. Myers, 34, died unexpectedly Jan. 20, 2011, at his home. He was born July 5, 1976, in Bangor, the son of James and Laurie (Milliken) Myers. Tim graduated from Orono High School, Class of 1995, and then served in the U.S. Marine Corps for four years. The last 12 years he worked with the Maine Army National Guard, serving a tour of duty in Kuwait. He was a sports fan, and he especially enjoyed following the Patriots and Red Sox. Tim was predeceased by his father, James Myers. He is survived by his mother, Laurie (Milliken) Beylerian of Rockland; his stepfather, Kenneth Beylerian of Glenburn; his son, Derek “DJ” Myers and his mom, Crystal, of Stockton Springs; three brothers, James Myers Jr. and his wife, Tammie, of Calais, Jason Beylerian and his special friend, Melissa Wilde, of Alton and Brandon Cota of Orono; his sister, Meaghan Cota of Orono; his stepmother, Debbie Cota of Orono; his grandmother, Sylvia Beylerian of Orono; special nephew, J.C. Myers III; special niece, Pyper Beylerian; many special aunts, uncles, cousins; and three special stepsisters. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 29, at Brookings-Smith, Orono Chapel, 72 Main St., Orono, with Pastor Steven Smith, pastor of Orono United Methodist Church, officiating. Friends may call 2 p.m. until the time of service Saturday. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments at Orono American Legion Hall immediately after the service.
