LITTLETON, N.H. – Genie Genesis Verge, formerly of Bangor and Hermon, passed away peacefully Friday, Feb. 25, 2011, with her life partner, Thomas J. Burke, at her side in Littleton, N.H.
Genie attained her master’s degree and Certificate of Advanced Study in counseling and psychotherapy from the University of Maine, Orono, and had sufficient hours for her doctorate. As an interior designer, Genie was an integral part of the success of T.J. Burke Vintage Oriental Rugs, Columbia Street, Bangor, also doing business in Littleton, N.H., and Rye, N.H.
