BUCKSPORT – Willard H. “Willy” Hall, 66, died Tuesday, March 1, 2011, with his loving family by his side at a Portland hospital. He was born March 24, 1944, in Patten, son of Henry H. and Lois E. (Willard) Hall.

Willy graduated from Bucksport High School in 1962. He worked for the paper mill in Bucksport, retiring in 2002. He most enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially his grandchildren. He was an avid bingo player, and enjoyed listening to country music, hunting, fishing and cruising in his convertible.

He is survived and will sadly be missed by his wife of 46 years, Kathy H. (Lanphier) Hall; two sons, Jeff Hall and wife, April, of Bucksport and David Hall and wife, Elleetta, of Searsport; grandchildren, Raven and husband, Jason, Jeff Jr., Dylan, Zackery, Dustin, Melanie and Caitlin; two great-grandchildren, Larry and Noah; one sister, Harriet Hall of Orland; several cousins. In addition to his parents, Willy was predeceased by one sister, Gloria Hall; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, March 5, at Mitchell-Tweedie Funeral Home, 28 Elm St., Bucksport, with the Rev. David Morrison officiating. Burial will be in the spring at Silver Lake Cemetery, Bucksport.
