FORT KENT – Juliet (Paradis) Perreault went to our Lord March 4, 2011. Juliet was born Jan. 3, 1924, in Bristol, Conn., but resided most of her life in Portage, Houlton, Eagle Lake and Fort Kent.
Juliet, affectionately known by her family and friends as Bedette, will forever be remembered for her homemade doughnuts, apple pies, ployes and other delicious creations. Bedette also had a knack for growing beautiful gardens, immaculately painting a home faster than three men combined and to convince anyone who visited her to partake in a card game of setback or charlamagne. Another great hobby of Bedette’s was to dance, whether in the living room with her grandchildren, at weddings, line dance lessons or any social gathering. She will forever be remembered as a loving wife and sister, a devoted and passionate mother, doting grandmother and a friend to many.
Juliet is survived by her children, Roberta Ann Levesque and her husband, Bert, Charles Rick Perreault and his wife, Marcie, Don Perreault and his wife, Evelyn, Linda Pelletier and her husband, Gary, all of Fort Kent, and Bert Perreault and his wife, Gene, of St. Francis; grandchildren, Rick, Tina, Corey, Paula, Paul, David, Tracy, Steve, Tammy, Margo, Neile, Tom, Gary, Kevin, Kurt, Lori, Kent, Dean, Patty, Michael and Cathy; many great-grandchildren; her brothers, Kenneth Paradis and his wife, Velma, of Houlton, Don Paradis and Placid Paradis Jr. and his wife, Thelma, of Southington, Conn.; and a sister, Leona Chapdelaine and her husband, Yvon, of Bristol, Conn. She was predeceased by her father, Placid Paradis; her mother, Leona Paradis, in April 1978; her loving husband, Roland Perreault, in November 1978; brother, Bob Paradis; sisters, Nellie Garrity, Margaret Aportria and Priscilla Paradis; son, Gerald; and grandson, Bobby.
