LAS VEGAS – Sally A. Williams, 71, passed away March 3, 2011. She was born Aug. 25, 1939, in Wytopitlock.
She grew up in Bangor and attended John Bapst High School. She and her husband were residents of Las Vegas for 39 years. She was an avid supporter of the humane treatment of animals.
She was predeceased by her husband, Phillip C. Williams, U.S. Air Force, retired; mother Marvel (Washburn) Shannon; father, Earl Shannon; and sister, Kathy Lou. She leaves behind her daughter, Deborah Casteel of Elk Grove, Calif.; her brother, Timothy Shannon of Las Vegas; her sister, Donna Reynolds; four grandsons, one great-granddaughter and other loved family members.
Visitation will be held noon-2 p.m. Tuesday, March 8, at Palm South Jones Mortuary, Las Vegas. Graveside services will be held noon Wednesday, March 9, at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
