EASTON – Sandra Boxwell, 51, passed away Thursday, March 24, 2011, surrounded by her family at her residence. She was born Oct. 27, 1959, in Presque Isle, the daughter of Leighton and Rita Parlin.
Sandra’s faith made her a truly special servant for her precious Lord. She was a devoted wife, a wonderful mother, a very special sister and friend to many. We will all miss her very much.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Boxwell of Easton; two daughters, Amanda Weeder and Kristen Boxwell; a son, Jessi Tompkins and his wife, Lori; two stepchildren, Lynn Boucher and her husband, Tony, of Mapleton and Jeff Boxwell and his wife, Marsha, of Bath, New Brunswick; as well as 12 grandchildren. She also leaves behind two brothers, Leighton John Parlin and his mate, Glenna Tompkins, of Easton and James Parlin of Knoxville, Tenn.; two sisters, Debbie Bevins of Easton and Brenda Parlin and her mate, David Conlin, of Lebanon; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, March 26, at Easton Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Andy Derier officiating. Friends may call 1 p.m. until the time of service. Interment will take place in the spring at Pine Tree Cemetery, Easton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Aroostook Cancer Care, P.O. Box 151, Presque Isle, ME 04769.
