FAIRFIELD – Peter L. Kavin, aka “Pack Rat Pete,” 56, died unexpectedly March 13, 2011. He was born Feb. 16, 1955, son of Natalie and the late William Kavin of Concord, N.H., Bath and Gardiner.
He graduated from Morse High School, Bath, in 1973. He joined the Air Force and then married. Peter worked in a number of locations, including the Federal Post Office, in real estate and sales.
He was predeceased by his father, William Kavin; his younger brother, Andrew; and his special companion, Rose “Rosie” Zamora – “Pete and Rosie.” In addition to his mother, Natalie, survivors include former wife, Wendy of Bangor; his three lovely children, Rebecca of Bangor, Allison of California and David of North Carolina; brothers, James Kavin and wife, Marilyn, of New Sweden and John Kavin of Caribou; sisters, Kathleen Babcock of Seattle, Eileen Mullins of Texas, Suzanne Kavin of Missouri and Pauline Brown of Brunswick; very many nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to share in a special memorial 3 p.m. Friday, April 8, at Fairfield First Baptist Church, 12 Newhall St., off Main Street, Fairfield, with Pastor Donohue officiating.
