ST. DAVID – Doris Beaulieu, 79, died April 22, 2011, surrounded by her family at a Madawaska health facility after a long illness. She was born Feb. 7, 1932, in Madawaska, the daughter of Raoul and Alice (Dufour) St. Amant.

Doris worked for Royal Typewriter and General Electric in Connecticut until her retirement and then moved to St. David.

She is survived by her husband, Lewellyn of St. David; two daughters, Dolores and her husband, Ronald Mills, of St. David and Diane and her husband, Eddy Lebron, of Plainville, Conn.; two grandchildren, Erica and Eddy Jr.; one great-grandchild, Mariah; three brothers, Roger St. Amant and his wife, Agathe, of Windsor, Conn., Edward St. Amant and his wife, Phyllis, of Enfield, Conn., and Leo James St. Amant of Windsor, Conn.; and four sisters, Mrs. Florence Beaupre of Windsorville, Conn., Rolande Bouchard of Lyes Sport, Pa., Mrs. Claudette Beaulieu and her husband, Roger, of Castroville, Texas, and Joyce St. Amant of Windsor, Conn. She was predeceased by three brothers, Gilman, Bertrand and Reginald.

Per Doris’ wishes, there will be no services. The memorial service will be a private ceremony at a later date with immediate family members only, at which time they will share and celebrate her life and the happy times they all had with Doris. Doris did not want people to “weep and cry” and be sad. Instead, she wants you all to know she is happy and at peace and with the Lord.
