OLAMON and FALMOUTH, Mass. – Muriel Adele Campbell, 70, passed away peacefully June 6, 2011, at her home. She was born Aug. 2, 1940, in Boston, daughter of Philip Patrick and Frances (Barron) Mahoney.
Muriel graduated from Dorchester High School, Boston, in 1958. She lived a simple life and was well known in Olamon to her many friends. She enjoyed gardening and loved animals.
She is survived by her sister, Phyllis Crehan; her faithful companion, Robbie; two daughters, Nancy Costello, and Janet Martins and her husband, Marcilio; and seven grandchildren, Hutch Joseph Costello and his son and daughter, Starsky John Costello and his son, Tiffany April DePina and her two daughters, Christopher Michael Marks, Jeffrey Thomas Marks, Eric Anthony Marks and Katarina Julie Martins. In addition to her parents, Muriel was predeceased by her loving husband, Ronald E. Campbell.
Family and friends are invited to a memorial service 10 a.m. Thursday, June 9, at Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St., Old Town, with the Rev. Bruce Stevens officiating. Burial will be private.
