CORINTH – Elizabeth ‘Bessie’ Perkins, 94, the wife of the late Herbert Lee Perkins, died June 19, 2011, at a Bangor nursing home after a long illness. She was born July 29, 1916, in Blanchard, the daughter of William and Annie Watt. She attended Corinth United Methodist Church.
Surviving are a granddaughter, Davina Moore; a great-granddaughter, Heather, and a special friend, Kathy Millett Whitney. Bessie was predeceased by her two sons, William “Bill” Perkins and Herbert “Buddy” Perkins. Special thanks to Stillwater Health Care, Beacon Hospice and especially Pam MacArthur.
