CHESAPEAKE, Va. – Kenneth R. Grant, 42, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, July 9, 2011. Born at Langley Air Force Base, he was the son of Carl H. Grant and Linda J. Shuman.
Ken was raised in Corinth, graduated from Central High School and later earned his master’s degree in business from Husson College, Bangor. For the last 10 years, Ken was an oncology sales representative for Pfizer Pharmaceuticals.
He will be remembered as an exceptional, loving and caring father. Ken was a devoted husband, son, brother and friend to many.
Including his parents, survivors include three children, Katie, Jillian and Evan; his wife, Kim; a brother, Carl; a maternal grandmother, Phyllis; a stepmother, Barbara; stepsisters, Dariann, Natalie and Caryn; and stepbrothers, James, Scott, Andy and Michael.
Ken’s life will be celebrated in a service 11 a.m. Thursday, July 14, at Great Bridge Chapel of Oman Funeral Home & Crematory, 653 Cedar Road, Chesapeake, Va. The interment will be afterward at Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The viewing will be 5-8 p.m. Wednesday with the family receiving friends at the funeral home. Flowers are welcome.
