BEDFORD, Mass. – Faye (Peterson) Welt died July 25, 2011.
She was the loving wife of Richard E. Welt and the late Linwood Alley Jr.; devoted mother of Sandra Alley of Ohio, and Linwood Alley III and his wife, Susan, of Billerica, Mass.; dear stepmother of Cynthia Janik and her husband, Carl, of Holden, Mass., and Robert Welt and his wife, Lauren, of Wake Forest, N.C.; and sister of Mark Peterson and his wife, Edith, of Florida. She is also survived by grandchildren, Jason, Brendan, Kayla, Zach, Danny, Devin and Christian Alley; stepgrandchildren, Rebecca, Matthew, Peter, Andrew and Susannah Janik, and Christine, Jason, Nicole and Melissa Welt; four great-grandchildren, Parker, Shawn, Colin and Nina; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Jesse.
Her funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at New Colony Baptist Church, 30 River St., Billerica, Mass. Visitation will be held 5-8 p.m. Friday at Bedford Funeral Home, 167 The Great Road, Bedford, Mass. Interment will be 1 p.m. Monday at Oak Hill Cemetery, Winterport.
