BANGOR – Paul E. Page, 78, died July 27, 2011, at Maine Veterans Home, Bangor. He was born Sept. 29, 1932, in Dover-Foxcroft, the son of Walter and Pauline (Hall) Page.

Paul was a 1951 graduate of Foxcroft Academy. He served in the Korean War with the U.S. Army then served with the Maine Army Guard retiring from the Maine Air National Guard in 1986 as a senior master sergeant, serving our country for a total of 34 years. He was employed by the Maine Department of Transportation for 33 years. Paul was a member of Rising Virtue Lodge No. 10, AF & AM, Scottish Rite Bodies Valley of Bangor, Maine Consistory 32 Degree and a former member of Anah Shriners. He bowled for many years with the Air National Guard bowling team and enjoyed traveling with his wife to many places in the U.S.

Paul is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Clarice (Mitchell) Page of Bangor; two daughters, Pamela and her husband, Dan Fiske, of Bangor, Lisa-Anne and her husband, David Thomson, of Sidney; two grandchildren, Audra and her husband, Shawn Paulette, of Fairfield and Tricia and her husband, Jason Gagnon, of Sidney; three great-grandchildren, Valerie Paulette, Sierra and Macie Gagnon; sister-in-law and her husband, Dorothy and Kenneth Simmons of Bangor; three cousins, C.J. Mullaney of Dedham, Nancy Small of Levant and Susan Mullaney of Bangor.

Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 4, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor. A Masonic service will be held 7:30 p.m. Thursday conducted by the officers and members of Rising Virtue Lodge No. 10. A service of remembrance with military honors will be held 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 5, at the funeral home. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshment at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith, 163 Center St., Bangor, after the service.
