FORT KENT – Clifford Pelletier, 78, died peacefully Aug. 11, 2011, at a Fort Kent health care facility. He was born Dec. 28, 1932, in Fort Kent, the son of Charles and Laura (Gauvin) Pelletier.

Clifford’s favorite pastime was dancing. He was a past member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Lozier O’Grady Post No. 9609, having served in the U.S. Army.

He is survived by three children, Tina Rodrique of Clinton, Donna Foster of Augusta and Karl Pelletier of Fort Kent; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Una Mae Lord of Pittsfield and Yvette Phelan of Massachusetts; and one brother, Nelson Pelletier of Winslow. In addition to his parents, Clifford was predeceased by one brother, Warren Pelletier.

Friends may call 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Daigle Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Louis Catholic Church, Fort Kent.
