BANGOR – Rose M. Boyorak, 93, died peacefully Aug. 18, 2011, at a Bangor health care facility. She was born June 29, 1918, in Old Town, the daughter of George and Elsimey Gardner.

Rose was a lifelong resident of Bangor and she had resided at Stillwater Healthcare for a number of years. She worked for Viner Brothers and other factories until her retirement. Rose was an avid bingo player. She loved sewing, fishing and spending time with her family.

She is survived by one sister, Patricia Dall of Brewer; five children, John Boyorak and wife, Jean, of Hampden, Daniel Byorak and wife, Joyce, of Melbourne Beach, Fla., Paul Boyorak and wife, Yasmin, of Melbourne, Fla., Catherine Whitcomb and husband, Richard, of Hudson and William Boyorak of Dedham; 10 grandchildren, Mark, Laurie, Sandy, Scott, Jonathan, Sara, Todd, Jessica, Amanda and Jacob; 18 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Rose was predeceased by her husband, John Boyorak Sr.; sisters, Gladys Gardner, Dorothy Little and Arlene Dwelley; and two great-grandchildren, Colby Nutt and Anthony Drawdy.

Family and friends are invited to gather noon-2 p.m.

Monday, Aug. 22, at Pine Grove Reception Center, 1347 Hammond Street Extension, Bangor. Burial will be at a later date.
