PRESQUE ISLE – Pearl O. Peluso, 89, passed away Monday, Sept. 19, 2011, at her residence. She was born Dec. 21, 1921, in Westfield, the daughter of Guy and Elizabeth (Burtchell) Winship.
Pearl loved to go to Tim Horton’s, as well as go shopping and walking at the mall. Her favorite times were with her family and she will be missed very much.
She is survived by two sons, Roger Bell and his wife, Cindy, of Mars Hill and Kevin Bell of Bangor; two sisters, Virginia Brown and Pauline Davenport, both of Presque Isle; a brother, Emerson Winship of Presque Isle; four grandchildren, Dara Pheasant, Carla DiDonato, Angela Cormier and Autumn Grimm; a special niece, Goldie Brown; and a special friend, Dot Pierce. She also leaves behind many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Alton Peluso; a daughter, Patricia Pryor; infant son, Richard Bell; grandson, Roger Bell; and two sisters, Dorothy Patterson and Geraldine Laing.
Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 23, at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle, with the Rev. Mark Carter officiating.
