BANGOR – Jeffrey Z. Rudom, 51, died unexpectedly Oct. 19, 2011, at his home. He was born July 30, 1960, in Bangor, son of the late Joel and Ida (Rosen) Rudom.
Jeffrey played professional basketball for the Israeli team, traveled the world and loved adventure, living life to the fullest. He was proud to be Jewish and followed his faith.
Jeffrey is survived by two sisters and their husbands, Michele and Mark Armstrong of Florida and Sheri and Ed Niedens of New York; his stepmother, Virginia LaFond of Bangor; three nieces, one nephew, two great-nieces, one great-nephew; and best friend, Michael Lucas. Jeffrey will be truly missed by all his family and friends.
Graveside services were held noon Sunday, Oct. 23, at Beth Israel Cemetery, Bangor, with Rabbi Justin Goldstein officiating.
