PARKMAN – Eleanor “Ellie” Mae Sears, 85, died Oct. 27, 2011, at Mayo Regional Hospital, Dover-Foxcroft. She was born Sept. 10, 1926, in Blanchard, daughter of Leonard and Marguerite (Kimball) Randazzo Watt.
In her early years she worked as a machinist in New Hampshire and later in various manufacturing jobs, retiring in 1988 from Guilford of Maine.
She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Abbot. She was a loving wife and mother.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Raymond J. Sears of Parkman; a daughter, Lynda Sears and close friend, Rhonda Merrill, of Concord, Calif.; a sister, Betty Tower of Sangerville; a sister-in-law, Thelma Garstang and her husband, Dick, of New Hampshire; nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 31, at Abbot Village Cemetery with Kevin Magee officiating. Arrangements by Crosby & Neal, Guilford. For an online guest register, go to
