OTIS – Patrick Carrier, born March 17, 1955, passed away Nov. 9. 2011, at home in the loving care of his three children, after a brief struggle with cancer.
Patrick was a fisherman and motorcycle enthusiast. He loved to garden and cook. Patrick came to know Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, and was baptized beside his brother, Kendal, at Hart’s Pond in the summer of 2010. He attended Nealley’s Corner Church, Hampden.
He was predeceased by his parents, Patrick Carrier, Alberta and Robert Carney; and a brother, Marshall Carrier. He is survived by his brother, Kendal Dunbar and wife, Patti; and sister, Veronica Barry. He is also survived by his three children: daughter, Danielle Carrier; son, Brendan Carrier; daughter, Christy Pugsley and husband, Daniel; four grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
A benefit and celebration of Patrick’s life will be held 4-7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, at Bucksport Rod and Gun Club. A graveside service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted by the Patrick Carrier Benefit Fund at Maine Savings Credit Union.
