ELLSWORTH – Marjorie A. Hughes, 76, died Nov. 13, 2011, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Feb. 20, 1935, daughter of William and Leah (Ramey) Turnbull.
Marjorie was a wife, mother, grandmother “Mor,” sister, aunt and friend. She drank from her saucer because her cup overflowed.
A Mass of Christian burial will be prayed 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 18, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 231 Main St., Ellsworth, with Father Scott Mower, celebrant. Interment will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Ellsworth. At the family’s request, please do not send flowers, but rather take a cancer patient to an appointment, have lunch with an older adult, call somebody you love or hug a child in Marjorie’s memory.
