BANGOR – Sonia Lee Robbins, 53, passed away peacefully Thursday, Oct. 27, 2011, at home with her fiance at her side, after a long illness and courageous battle with cancer. She was born April 6, 1958, in Rockland, the daughter of Bert H. Jr. and Leta K. (Bickford) Dearborn.

Sonia was very proud of her children and grandchildren, who gave her great joy. She enjoyed time spent with her family and David’s, and had a fondness for seafood, crime shows and being around children. She was a loving and caring partner and friend, and her spirit will always be with those who knew her and loved her. She will be greatly missed.

Sonia is survived by her fiance and longtime companion, David Brewster of Bangor; four children, Lance Woodbury and his wife, Amy, of Jay, Kristina Willett and her husband, Marcus, of Wilton, Nicole Woodbury of Wilton and Lt. Forrest Woodbury and his wife, Candice, of Fort Wiley, Junction City, Kan.; eight grandchildren; four siblings, Edward Ott and his companion, Suzan Ludwick, of Warren, Brenda Rios and her husband, Fred, of Willimantic, Conn., Alan Dearborn and his wife, Penny, of Rockland and Dean Dearborn of Rockland; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, Bert and Leta; as well as a brother, Glen, whom she dearly missed.

A graveside service will be held at a later date at Mount Hope Cemetery, Bangor.
