BANGOR – Michael J. Ellis, 70, died Dec. 13, 2011, at his home. He was born June 16, 1941, in Old Town, son of Andrew and Alice (Currier) Ellis.
Mike attended St. Mary’s School, Orono, and graduated with the last graduating class. He was a courier for the Bangor Daily News for many years and his lifelong passion was playing golf.
He is survived by his son, Michael Ellis; and his sister and her husband, Mary and Reuben Bryer of North Carolina. Mike was predeceased by his parents.
