PLAINVILLE, Conn. – Andrew C. Curtis, 53, beloved husband of Patricia (Hepp) Curtis, passed away Thursday, Dec. 15, 2011, surrounded by his loved ones at Bristol Hospital. He was born Sept. 21, 1958, in Presque Isle, son of Marilyn (Ruff) Gamblin of Waynesboro, Va., and the late Gaylord “Jake” Curtis.

Andy was a longtime resident of Plainville, Conn., and had been employed at GEMCO Manufacturing, Southington, Conn.

In addition to his wife, Patricia, and his mother, Marilyn, he is also survived by two daughters, Christie Curtis and Ashley Curtis, both of Plainville, Conn.; two brothers, Rick Curtis and Tony Curtis, both of Bristol, Conn.; three sisters, Nora Bonville of Presque Isle, Joan Thomas of Waynesboro, Va., and Monica Dyer of Presque Isle; several nieces and nephews.

His funeral was held 9 a.m. Monday, Dec. 19, at O’Brien Funeral Home, 24 Lincoln Ave., Forestville/Bristol, Conn., with a 10 a.m. service at Church of Our Saviour, Plainville, Conn. Calling hours were held 5-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial was after at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford, Conn.
