LINCOLN – Dennis R. King Sr., 56, died Jan. 2, 2012, at his home. He was born May 16, 1955, in Lincoln, son of Paul A. and Arlean E. (Kennedy) King.

In his younger days, Dennis worked for IGA and also worked for David Round in Enfield. Since 1977, he had worked at the pulp and paper mill in Lincoln.

He is survived by a son, Dennis King Jr. of Lincoln; daughter, Shannon Boyorak of Winterport; six grandchildren, Anthony, Victoria, Katarina and Isabella Boyorak, and Zackary and Gabriel King; and siblings, Ida Carmichael, Darrel, George and Dale Reuben King, Priscilla Richmond, Patricia Philbrook, Delbert King, Paula Webster, Pauline Hartwell, Perline McCafferty, Pamela Young, Douglas and Dwaine King, Pennie Stewart and Permelia King.

Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln, where funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday with the Rev. Tony Stewart officiating. There will be a gathering of family and friends at Full Gospel Tabernacle, Fleming Street Lincoln, after the burial. Interment will be at Lincoln Cemetery.
