PORTLAND, Maine — Police arrested a Gorham man early Monday after he allegedly threatened to cut an acquaintance’s throat if he didn’t turn his car keys over.
Portland police Lt. Gary Rogers told the Bangor Daily News that Robert Nowlin Sr., 42, was arrested at 12:46 a.m.
Rogers said Nowlin was at an acquaintance’s house in Friendly Village, a local trailer park, when he put a knife to the man’s throat and demanded the keys to his vehicle.
Gorham police notified their counterparts in Portland that the vehicle was heading their way, Rogers said. An officer spotted a vehicle matching the description on Brighton Ave., pulled it over and arrested Nowlin.
Nowlin is being held at Cumberland County Jail.
Not so “friendly” antics at the Friendly Village Trailer Park.
