ST. ALBANS – Genevieve Page, 93, died Jan. 5, 2012, at a Pittsfield hospital. She was born Aug. 2, 1918, in Island Falls, a daughter of Thane and Maude (Downs) Clifford.
She was an 80-year resident of St. Albans, and will be remembered for loving everybody and giving lots of hugs. She attended Grace Linn Memorial United Methodist Church, Hartland, and was a member of Chatterbox Club. Genevieve’s favorite pastime was singing, especially all of the old hymns.
She is survived by three sons, Wayne and wife, Ellen Weeks, of Oakland, Earle and wife, Sharon Weeks, and Dean and wife, Jane Weeks, all of St. Albans; stepdaughter, Jana Brown of Newport; one brother, Thane “Dusty” and wife, Geneva Clifford, of Parkman; 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband, John Weeks; second husband, Lloyd Page; sister, Doris Tarr; and great-grandson, Joseph Heim.
Friends may call 10 a.m. until the time of funeral services 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 9, at Grace Linn Memorial United Methodist Church with Pastor James Boughman officiating.
