BATH, Maine — A Washington Street resident reported Wednesday afternoon that her home had been burglarized during the day, with an undisclosed amount of cash taken from her bedside table.
The woman returned to her home on Washington Street near Leeman Highway about 3:45 p.m. Wednesday to find that her belongings had been moved around and the cash was missing, Bath Police Lt. Stan Cielinski said Thursday.
The woman told officers that she left for work at 5 a.m., so police surmise that the break-in occurred during that time.
Cielinski said police have no suspects at this time.
