BANGOR and LAUDERHILL, Fla. – Muriel C. Martini, 89, died peacefully Jan. 7, 2012, in her sleep. She was born in Pittsburgh, grew up in Queens, N.Y., and raised her family in Garden City, N.Y.
She and her husband, Ted, retired to Florida, where she enjoyed the warm weather and tennis. After her husband died, she had the opportunity to travel to all of the places she wanted to see with her many friends.
Muriel was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Ted; her daughter, Lynn; her brothers, Jim and Bill Priest; and her nephews, Danny, Billy, Tom and Fred. She is survived by her daughter, Terry; granddaughter, Jenn; sister, Eleanor; sister-in-law, Joan; many nieces and nephews. Many thanks for the wonderful care she received from the staff at Sylvia Ross Home, Beacon Hospice and Loving Touch. Muriel enjoyed teasing you all and making you laugh!
