ROCKLAND, Maine — The final of three people charged in a violent home invasion last year in Warren will spend six years behind bars.
Bridget Parker, 27, of Tenants Harbor, was sentenced Jan. 20 in Knox County Superior Court to 10 years in jail with all but six years suspended for elevated aggravated assault, robbery and burglary. Parker also will be on probation for four years upon her release from jail.
Justice Jeffrey Hjelm also ordered Parker, along with her two co-defendants, to pay $20,000 in restitution to the victims of the crime.
Arrested and charged following the Aug. 24 incident were Parker; her brother Leroy Parker, 21, of Union; and Jessica Gagnon, 29, of Thomaston. Police said the three entered the home wearing masks and carrying crowbars and a hammer and attacked the residents in an effort to steal money and drugs.
Bridget Parker struck one of the residents in the head with the claw end of a hammer, fracturing the woman’s skull, according to police reports. The woman was hospitalized for her injuries.
Bridget Parker had a prior assault conviction but no prior felony convictions.
Gagnon was sentenced Dec. 20 to 12 years in jail with all but eight years suspended. Leroy Parker was sentenced to eight years in jail.
Six years doesn’t seem long enough for what this nutjob did.

Should have been attempted murder too. She fractured an innocent woman’s skull with the claw end of a hammer and only has to do 6 years? People get more than that for tax evasion. What the heck. This is disturbing.

Gagnon and Leroy Parker got eight years
First, I think that they all should have gotten at least ten years but would like to know why the other two got more years then the one that hit some one with a hammer!!
Sounds like she deserves every second of the 10 years.
