BRADFORD – Kevin “Lugnut” Austin, 49, died unexpectedly Feb. 13, 2012, at his home. He was born Nov. 11, 1962, in Bangor, the son of Lewis and Nellie (Jordan) Austin.
He was a member of Mosaic Lodge No. 52 of Dover-Foxcroft and Anah Temple Shrine. A member of the Shrine Clown Unit, “Lugnut”
brought smiles to many people as “Kissy” and will never be forgotten. His life purpose was to make people laugh by being mischievous and clowning around. Kevin enjoyed working at the Department of Transportation as a field heavy vehicle equipment technician.
He is survived by his girlfriend, Bridget “B” Riffel; three brothers, Everett, Joseph and
Scott Austin, all of Mariaville; and his children, Alan, Kelli, Adam, Keeli and Nikia Austin.
