CARIBOU and CYR PLANTATION – Lucille A. Gagnon, 87, died Feb. 13, 2012, at her residence on the Grimes Road, Caribou. She was born April 19, 1924, in St. Anne, New Brunswick, the daughter of Joseph and Eva (Chasse) Pelletier.
Lucille is survived by nine children, Irene Brannelly and husband, Raymond, of West Roxbury, Mass., John Gagnon and wife, Cyndy, Gille Gagnon and wife, Brenda, all of Cyr Plantation, Bertrand Gagnon and wife, Isabelle, of Etna, Gene Gagnon and wife, Donna, of Waterville, Ralph Gagnon and companion, Tom Cryan, of North Yarmouth, Rachel Bouchard and husband, Michael, of Van Buren, Sandra Gibson and husband, Greg, of Cumberland and Theresa Daigle and husband, Marcel, of Caribou; five sisters, Yvette Soucy, Bibianne Pelletier and Geralda St. Peter, all of Nashua, N.H., Alice Cyr and Adrienne Lepage and husband, Marcel, all of Saco; 21 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Chanel Gagnon; one son, Danny Gagnon; two sisters, Lilianne Pelletier and Gertrude Shena; and by two brothers, Claude Pelletier and Adrien Pelletier.
Relatives and friends may call 7-9 p.m. Wednesday and 9-10:30 a.m. Thursday at Ouellette- Thibault Funeral Home, 118 High St., Van Buren. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Bruno-St. Remi Catholic Church. Spring interment will be at the parish cemetery.
