BANGOR, Maine — An Edinburg man is facing two charges of operating under the influence after he was arrested for the offense twice in three days, police say.
Warren Dome, 54, was pulled over by Bangor police on Feb. 15 after a passerby reportedly witnessed a visibly intoxicated individual hit a parked vehicle and flee the scene after leaving the New Waverly bar, Sgt. Paul Edwards said Tuesday.
Police reportedly found the vehicle and Dome was given a field sobriety test. Based on the results he was charged with operating under the influence. Dome also was charged with failure to report an accident by quickest means.
On Feb. 18, Maine State Police received a report of a family fight at an Edinburg residence. Police found an intoxicated Dome and evidence suggested that he had driven to the residence, Trooper Lawrence Anderson said Tuesday.
Dome was placed under arrest and charged with operating under the influence and for violation of bail conditions.

He should get off the first O.U.I. An earlier article suggested the officer needed to catch the perp in the act to stop him, so he waited down the street for him to leave the store. Double edged sword?
Getting off is no the problem for him. He has an alcohol problem that needs to be addressed , and now!
Sounds as if his problem is two hands, one mouth.
must have figured he already got caught once this week it could never happen again.. bet he got bail and maybe we can read about a third one this week if so someone should arrest the law makers
Mr Dome needs to learn how to spell AA. It is time to admit you have a problem. You hit parked cars (and consider yourself lucky you did NOT hurt anyone this time!) and took off because you knew you shouldn’t be driving. Then you drive and get yourself into a fight that needs police presence. Think about this next question carefully-How many other people, that you consider “normal” have these kinds of legal issues in less than a week? Do you see a problem with alcohol yet?
He’s too drunk to see an issue.
Just hopin’ he might be reading some of these comments and see that maybe he does have a problem. There are a lot of good folks in the program willing to help him get sober. All he has to do is show up!
Folks who have experienced recovery know this as the ‘First Step’
Amazing how well those bail conditions work…
Bail conditions are given as a “Free Pass”… To go out and re-enter the revolving door without repaying an admission fee…
Going with the few details of the story it doesn’t say if Mr. Dome had/has any prior involvements with the law. So if he is 54 and this is the first time It would suggest that he is having personal issues with his family and he is coping the best he canouAnd before all yo law abiding people that are or will be going for this man’s throat and mine perhaps he needs a ride to Dunkin Donuts instead of to AA. As we all know there are many stressors with just living a simple life style and we ALL handle them OUR way. I don’t like drunken drivers any more than the next driver and due process will happen.
And what will Dunkin Donuts do for him, pray tell? The guy’s obviously got problems, but I don’t see how a cup of bad coffee and chunk of carbo/lard food product is going to do him any good.
Maybe the person that takes him there will listen to his problems and he will feel better.
He’s 54, with 2 OUI’s in one week plus police presence to calm an alcohol fueled argument. If he never had a problem with alcohol before, he does now. Most folks would have been afraid to have a drink in their own homes let alone be in a position for a second OUI in the same week. This seems like a person who CANNOT stop.
Why give people bail conditions when they never follow them – and don’t get into trouble when they don’t follow them???
Go to the VA for some help Warren. You earned that from being a Navy veteran.
Thank you police! I live on this road. I hope he gets the help he apparently needs.
Keep him in jail- I hope he gets help but he has to WANT it. So far all I see is he is a danger to himself & others….keep him locked up….doubt that will happen tho’…..
