LUDLOW – George T. Scott, 60, died March 5, 2012, at a Bangor health care facility. He was born Dec. 19, 1951, in Houlton, the son of George V. and Jean (Sealey) Scott.
George was owner and operator of G. Scott Trucking. He enjoyed life, spending time with his family and the folks at Eastside Rehabilitation Center.
George is survived by three daughters, Terri Foster of Florida, Angel Nave of Ohio and Wendy Hersey of Florida; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Bruce Scott and his wife, Cindy, of Ludlow and Larry Scott of Houlton; three sisters, Sheila Robinson of Washington, Sharon Farrar of Houlton and Cathy Huckabee of Florida; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Dick Carmichael. A very special thank you to the caregivers of Eastside Rehabilitation Center for loving kindness given to George.
Friends may call 11 a.m. until the time of the service 1 p.m. Saturday at Dunn Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Straubel officiating. Spring interment will be at Ludlow Cemetery.
