TUCSON, Ariz., and OLD TOWN – Henry E. Mudgett, 70, passed away March 7, 2012. He was born Oct. 22, 1942, in Old Town, son of Helen (Young) and Everett Mudgett.

He grew up in Stillwater and attended Old Town High School, graduating in 1960. Henry was very active in sports, especially basketball and football. Henry furthered his education at Husson College. After graduating he went to work for W.T. Grants and later transferred to Newburyport, Mass. While there he owned and operated Dandy Donut Shop for 24 years. He later moved to Arizona in 1995.

Henry is survived and will be sadly missed by his wife of 47 years, Barbara (O’Clair); three children, Michael and his two daughters of Arizona, Kevin and two daughters and one son of Pennsylvania and Troy and his son of New Hampshire and three great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind two sisters, Barbara Arel of Connecticut and Marva Cote and a special niece, Kristina Cote, of Bradley.
