RANDOLPH – Lloyd McKinnon, 88, passed away unexpectedly April 25, 2012, at an Augusta nursing home. He was born July 27, 1923, in Bridgewater, son of the late Earnest and Hettie (McCleary) McKinnon.
He had a potato farm and worked construction most of his life. He was fortunate enough to be able to spend 16 years in Florida, which he dearly loved. He was a member of Free Baptist Church, Bridgewater.
Lloyd is survived by his wife, Marilyn Beals Stitham McKinnon; brother, Ralph MacKinnon and wife, Inez, of Inverness, Fla.; son, Ivan McKinnon and wife, Cole, of Methuen, Mass.; three daughters, Mavis Bradstreet and husband, Wayne, of Bridgewater, Cheryle Rogerson and husband, Roger, of Randolph, and Regina Muise and husband, Ray, of Everett, Mass.; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife, Janet Morse McKinnon; and one great-granddaughter, Megan Marie Bradstreet.
There will be a graveside service 1 p.m. May 5 at Corner Cemetery, Bridgewater. Arrangements are under the care of Staples Funeral Home, 53 Brunswick Ave., Gardiner.
