DEXTER and BANGOR – Frank Henry Mountain, 65, passed away May 4, 2012, in Dexter, after a long illness. He was born Oct. 26, 1946, in Dexter, son of Dorothy and Harvard Brawn Jr.; and stepfather, William Mountain.

He grew up in Sangerville and attended grade school there, and high school in Guilford. He was in the Navy from 1963-1967 and served a tour of duty in Vietnam onboard the USS Carrier Bon Home Richard. When he returned home, he worked as a carpenter/contractor until he retired. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Frank was predeceased by his parents; and uncle, Donald Brawn of Newport. He is survived by two sisters, Victoria and husband, William Gove, of Florida, and Sherry and husband, Charles Busque, of Dexter; one daughter, Melissa Dirksen of Waterville; two stepchildren, Laurie and Brian True of Bangor; and many close friends.

Interment will be held noon Saturday, May 19, at In Town Village Cemetery, Sangerville.
