EXETER – Darlene F. Dinsmore, 68, died unexpectedly Wednesday, May 16, 2012, at a Bangor hospital after a short illness. She was born June 11, 1943, in Princeton, the daughter of Darrell and Ferne (Jamison) Dinsmore.

She was a graduate of East Corinth Academy. For many years Darlene worked at various jobs in Massachusetts. After moving back to Maine she was employed as an educational technician for SAD 46, Garland, for several years. She was married to Claude E. McDowell, who predeceased her July 11, 2008. Darlene loved to crochet, work in her puzzle books, read and watch her favorite television shows.

She is survived by her daughter, Robin L. Dinsmore of Exeter; one sister and her husband, Donna and Frank Page of Palmyra; one niece, one nephew and two great-nieces. Darlene was predeceased by her parents, Darrell and Ferne Dinsmore.
