CARMEL – Donald G. Dyer Jr., 72, husband of the late Sally (Duffy) Dyer, died May 19, 2012, at his home. He was born Jan. 21, 1940, in Bangor, the son of Donald and Marjorie (Giggey) Dyer.
Donald loved playing golf and had a great love for the outdoors.
He is survived by his mother of Carmel; his three children, Robert Dyer of Bangor, Robin Dyer of Carmel and Donald Dyer of Texas; six grandchildren, Donald IV, Phillip, Lyndsey, Amber, Justin, Luke; three great-grandchildren, Ariana, Makayla and Brayden; and a very special cousin, David O’Donald. He was predeceased by his father and wife.
Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Friday, May 25, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, where a service of remembrance will be held 9:30 a.m. Saturday, May 26. Interment will be at a later date at Highland Cemetery, Carmel. Condolences to the family may be expressed at
