PRESQUE ISLE – Maurice W. Parker, 85, died early Monday morning, May 21, 2012, at a Caribou health care facility. He was born March 24, 1927, in Woodland, son of Wilson and Minnie (Carmen) Parker.
Maurice worked as a bookkeeper for Rathbun Lumber Co., Presque Isle, for 32 years. He was a member of Full Gospel Assembly, Presque Isle.
He is survived by a son, David Parker and his wife, Kate, of Waterbury, Conn.; two daughters, Janet (Parker) Zappadiano of Wausau, Wis., and Sheila Martin and her husband, Robert, of Bangor; a sister, Pearl Drost of Caribou; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Grace (Churchill) Parker; a son, Bruce Parker, in 2006; and a brother, Merton Parker, in 2010.
Funeral services will be held
11 a.m. Saturday, May 26, at Full Gospel Assembly, Dudley Street, Presque Isle, with the Rev. Kevin Kierstead officiating. Friends may call 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
