Let’s start moving away from all of this focus on wars and soldiers, America is about so much more that fighting and killing. Or is it? If it’s not, then you have to wonder why all of those wars were fought and those guys died….
What a disgusting point of view and display of appreciation for those who have died for you.
I don’t usually respond to your posts because I find them rude, offensive – and not worthy of my time- but you pushed it on this one. How incredibly ignorant ! Memorial Day has always been about honoring deceased loved ones… but also the Military. Thus the programs at schools and the parades. 4th of July- yes- about freedom- and quite frankly we have that freedom because of the few and proud who have fought for our country! Gay Pride Parades? These “blatant displays” as you call them- will never happen-and your attitude STINKS! Happy Memorial Day everyone- and GOD Bless America!
This post was in reply to Bangorian who edited his post. He claimed we should be having Gay Pride parades on the 4th to celebrate freedom. He also said we concentrated too much on honoring the military.
Mt.Pleasant has scrubs growing around some stones and tree’s. Why is the question, it destroys everything about displaying and honoring and looks terrible.
